I presently have a Gem, a Vlamngi, unicorn, and a yellow tang in my 300 gallon reef. The tangs show no aggression towards each other. I want to add an Achiles and a chevron. Do you think they will cause aggression issues?
You shouldn't have a problem adding them but your tank is not big enough for vlamingii and unicorn. They get really big are best suited in at least a 10-foot tank.
If you have plenty of rock and flow and also feeding often and having macro growing to feed with greatly help new additions. Ideally you would add all the tangs to the tank at one time
thats a shame [unicorn tang] as I was hoping to have one in my 550g (84x36x42")
I guess what I would consider a large aquarium isnt quite as large as their home in the wild...LOL guess I'll have to check that one off the wanted list.
