Tang flashing -

My Goldrim tang is flashing.

I did my first TTM with a small Hippo tang and when it was complete I added him to the main tank and dosed the main tank with Praziopro.

The hippo tang was added 9 days ago. Everybody eats just fine.

Help

Get them some high quality food...lots of it and hope. I would push some NLS pellets soaked in Garlic for starters. Lots of mysis too.

Did u ttm the gold rim?

He was properly treated with Cupramine and showed zero signs of any problems for about 6 months now. Healthy and good color.

Since adding the hippo 9 days ago, he flashes - now and again. I really didn't trust the TTM way of treating even though many many have success. I even added and "extra" transfer for safety.

So depressing.

MY flame angel flashed after a full round of ttm as well. Started hypo then the stupid fish went into an over flow and died. Fml

The Prazi is a good idea. You can even do more than one round of treatment with it. Other than that, all you can do is feed well, keep up the water quality, and observe.

Just because the gold rim showed no signs does not mean it was rid of all parasites. You could also have messed up the ttm somehow.

Flashing could be a sign of other parasites. Did you incorporate formalin dip or dosing parazipro during the ttm? It's advisable to put the ttm'd fish in a QT to see if the ttm didn't take or it had something else going on.
