According to the Reefkeeping.com article on Hippo Tangs, they will grow to about 10 inches in 5.25 years. It also stated that they will be about 1.8 inches after the first year, and continue to grow roughly by 2 inches every year until they hit the five year mark, when growth slows down considerably. This is based on natural growth rates (and the author's own math), however, and can be stunted by cramped quarters.
