I currently have a 125long with a rock layout based on room for my naso tang to swim. i also have a clown tang in a different tank. also have a atlantic tang.

now my naso is around 6inches my clown is 3 and my alantic is 4 inches.

how well do you think they will get along .

Before they get large iam buying a250 or larger tank in 1-2 years.

anyone have a similar selection? I only have 5 other fish they are two large marire clowns a large lawnmower a large watchman and a small scribbled rabbit fish.

Hi! Are those still the Clowns, Nem, & LM Blenny you got from me?
If so, hope/glad they are doing well. Anymore spawnings? They did it like 5 times for me in the old tank.

With Room left for swimming I see No problem for your Atlantic blue and naso. As long as you add them together at the same time. Keeping size and space in mind.

What size tank is the Clown Tang in right now? No criticising here.. The Clown Tang is one of my favorites of all. At a smaller size anything "could" be ok for a temporary situation. But the Clown tang is one of the largest growing tangs and can be very aggressive. 250 gallons is the minimum tank size to have the clown tang in going by standards...for growth and longevity for the fish.. so your kind of at the limit with that tank depending on swimming room and other fish in it..

I had a friend who kept a clown tang in a 180 with a red sea sailfin tang, pink tail trigger and some clowns & wrasses. It worked just fine. But it was a "small" clown tang. "Small" and not so aggressive at the time. Trigger and Sailfin were bigger than it. Not destined to last forever in that tank.

If anything, if your prepared to do upgrades, leave swimming room, and add them at the same time together in a new tank set up..(change rock work around if one is already in it) I think you can be OK. Keeping in mind, if your keeping that Clown Tang for it's entire life.. your going to need a minimum of 250 but LARGER is a plus. Larger is Always a plus! It's a very Large and agressive fish when it's grown up.

125 is a bit small for both of them IMO, so there will most likely be some battles. Besides that, since the Naso is already established and you are adding the clown, I think you have a better chance of success. Worst case scenario, remove the clown and put it back into your other tank. I wouldnt risk all 3 in a tank of that size.

I agree totally. I'd do no more than the 2 Tangs in that 125 at the most. Not to discourage anything.. like a downer..
But just be careful. If you want all 3 together, keep the Clown Tang on his own for now and think about the 250 upgrade for adding them all together. If not, and if you don't want to get rid of him.. then perhaps keep him by himself in the other tank until you can do the upgrade.

The naso & Atlantic blue should be doable for now in the 125... but it's still pushing it a bit. The Naso should eventually get that bigger tank.

Thanks for the replies the clown is a baby at largest he's 3 inch in a 90g. i will be upgrading for.sure within a year or two max. but mabey untill then ill keep them seprate. i relaize the fish in time will out grow the tank that's why i bought all of them as babies ny naso was 2 incher 2years ago.
