Tang has Lumpy stomach - Parasite?

Hi all! So I have a recently acquired Hippo Tang in my DT which appears to have a lumpy stomach. He was in quarrantine for 8 weeks during which he underwent a 5 week hypo for Ich. As far as I could tell, the Ich treatment worked and I haven't seen any of it again.

He's been happy and healthy in my DT for about two months now, but in the past week or two, I've noticed that his stomach is - best way to describe it - lumpy. It appears to be bulging out with a randomized lumpiness to it. There are distinct shadows cast when the light hits just right, but it is very clearly not smooth. The severity of it comes and goes, but in general it appears to be getting more lumpy. I would assume this isn't normal? But I'm not entirely sure. He's been eating well and doesn't appear to have anything exiting his body, or any white stringy poop...it just doesn't look normal.

I feed my fish a frozen algae (omnivore) blend twice a day. It's got a nice mix of chopped seaweed, mysis, bloodworms, mussels, and coral food. In addition, I feed about 2-3 pieces of Nori a week.

Any suggestions? Is this life threatening? Is it even a problem? I need to get a pic for you, but I realized I've lost my memory card - so that will have to wait. Do I need to wait to treat until I've seen additional symptoms? Does he need some ex-lax?! Any help would be appreciated!

Not a problem. Lots of fish will engorge themselves if provided a lot of food, and some will eat rocks like a chicken does with it's gizzard. My fox face and hepatus exhibit the same thing. Nothing to worry about?

Perhaps you can vary the diet, that may help it make bm
