Tang ID Help...

Got this tang couple of days ago, he was listed as a orange stripped tang (I've never heard of those) and I got him for a great deal. I've searched everywhere and have been unable to find any info on them, I'm starting to wonder if that is really what he his. Let me know what you all think... here is a pic.

Looks like some type of bristletooth tang. A bit hard to tell the coloring from that picture though.

I don't think that is what it is. The description says that young are bright yellow. The picture I posted has very accurate colors and the fish is about 2" long.

Awesome tang, but I have no idea what it is. Definately looks like a bristletooth though.

I vote for Ctenochaetus striatus

I have seen Ctenochaetus striatus juveniles that look exactly like that. They start off bluish with orange stripes, gradually acquiring the typical coloration.

And a third - definately a Ctenochaetus of some variety.

Could be Ctenochaetus striatus, does anyone have a photo of a juvenile?
