this is closest i can find Dussimer Tang - Acanthurus dussumieri

the fish store said it was a foxtail tang
when i google that .... nothing

Try looking up "powder brown tang" and compare it is a little hard with your pic

yeah a powder brown is def. different. this guy has different markings i will try for better pics tonight

whats wierd though his body is just brown gets light brown when happy but no lines on it

I don't know what it is but you can rule out the naso guess.

mark, I wonder if it could possibly be a tang hybrid. We see those from time to time.
