hello all i have a question about keeping a tang(dont know what kind yet) in a 120 gal 48x24x24..........is the 48in enough room for it? or should i say which tangs would be the healthiest in this tank? any? it will be about 3 months before i purchase so i have some time to truely do it right

I would stay with a Zebrasoma (sans sailfin) or Ctenochaetus tang. They stay small (relatively) and graze. 48" is not ideal, but the depth and height will be good.

Length is important, but so is open space. A 48x48x36 cube is better than a 72x18x18 rectangle.
