Tang in a 10" high tank

Building a 5 foot tank after ordering some glass and was wondering if I could keep a blue tang in a 10 inch high tank.
Dimensions will be 60"x22"x10
I plan on getting a tank only about 2 inches in size btw if that helps clarify things

I have a kole tang in a 6' x 18" x 12". It's a little taller than yours, but he is fine.

Hepatus tangs (assuming that you are referring to that species) would not do well in a five foot tank, especially one that is 10 inches tdall.

Your 2" tang wont take long to become a 5 or 7" tang, and they love to swim. Not to mention, expect it to be a good 3-5" tall, you leave him very little room. I wouldn't do it.

I agree with others. I think a 10"(at least 12" would be better) would work if it was very long(8 plus feet), but definitely not in a 5 footer.
