Tang Introduction

Currently I have a blue hippo tang, almost 3 inches. 115g.

When do I know when its safe to add another tang?

Btw, I'm looking for a more peaceful species. Thanks in advance

Personally, I like adding tangs at the same time so they can establish their territory together. I bought 2 blue tangs (1.5 & 2" at the time) and they became buddies right from the start. A couple months later I added a BABY yellow tang and purple tang together. They all did fine together. Shortly after that I introduced a baby chevron and powder blue tang. Everyone is alive and thriving today.

Well, I'm trying to pass on the species of yellow purple and sailfin such. I heard yellow can be real bullys.
