I will try and get a picture up as soon as i can but i have to figure out how to work my wifes canon rebel to take clear close ups.
My issue is that i have a Vjamini Tang, Dejardini Tang and Blonde Naso Tang. The Blonde is nuts and gets scared easily. It has spots all of it but they do not appear to be ich because they are almost like bruising but are lighter color than the normal grey body. Well the fins go soem spotso nthem the other day and its like a growth almost. Its like a fungus more than ich to be honest so i got some cleaners shrimp and two cleaner wrasses. Well the wrasses hide in the holes of the rocks after being out ofr a bite and im nto sure what i should do now. The Dejardini sailfin has scrubbed hiself on the sand severla times and i read that it could be ich. Also the Vjaminji has a small spot of its fin also. They all act of and eat like pigs . I have added more vitamin and garlic to their food. The LFS guy whihc is very trust worthy to me and my friends states to feed them well and add the garlic and vitamins and it will clear up in a few weeks. Now he has soem very nice set ups and a very large base from DFWMas that buys form him so i trust him to some extent but wonder if i should just QT them..
Also do cleaner wrasse hide alot?

Well, i'm not even close to a fish disease guru but since noone else has responded, i'll give my 2 cents.

1st, what is your tank dimensions and water parameters?

I've only dealt with ich and a small case of popeye with my tangs but ime, they are pretty hardy if you have good water and feed them healthy food with some garlic and either selcon/zoecon added.

Without pics, i cant even guess what they could have but before you freak out worrying or try to catch them for qt, i'd make sure your water parameters are good and keep feeding them nutritious food soaked in garlic, selcon, zoecon or the like. Ime, as long as they are eating and have good water, they are pretty dang hardy. If it was me, i'd just keep a close eye on them and make sure they are eating. I wouldnt try catching them and qt'ing them as long as they are eating well. I'm not a fan of qt'ing unless it is a last resort but thats just my opinion.

p.s.- i'm sure others will disagree but ime, cleaner shrimp and wrasses are pretty worthless for problems like this.

dude I hope you don't get offended easily but doesn't your computer have spell check or do you have bear paws for fingers or did you party all night for v day .just ribbing you, hope your not offended.one thing you should do along with vitamins and garlic is double up on the water changes.pristine water will help to strengthen the fishes immune system.my lfs says thats what he does when he has outbreak of ick.

lol, i normally post while driving down the road so i have errors a lot. My wife hounds me as well. I did a water chaneg about 10 days ago.
I tested all paramters are ALK was a little low at 7.4 so i buffered it to increase that. All other parameters were spot on. They all seem to eat very well and do not act weird. I am in the middle of trying to kill a little algae so i got the tank covered so maybe it will help them settle down a bit. I do soak their food in Garlic and Vitamins daily now and run a UV light 24-7. 40 watt
