tang re-eating nori

today i noticed my blue alantic tang crap and eat it.does this mean he is hungry and need to feed him more.he gets 1 nori strip to himself and i feed my 3 other fish 2 times a day ,which he gets some of. hes a growing boy just starting to turn blue.

Tangs just love to eat poo. Other fish will eat it as well, but the tangs seem to be the biggest fan of feces.

As for a reason why, I recall reading somewhere that it adds bacteria to their digestive system.
