Tang with black dot

I was wondering if this black dot near the stomach is a problem? Is this some kind of internal parasite? Also does the naso look fine over all?

I see the black dot and it looks like there is only one. I would keep a close eye on it to see if any more develop/it gets bigger or if its just that one.

Also has it always been there or is it just something new?

He looks fat. =) make sure to feed him lots of variety and lots of veggies.

I think the dot appeared towards the end of the quarantine period. The dot has been on the naso for about 3 to 4 weeks now. He eats fine and all I just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything bad.

Black dots all over the fish can be 'black ich' but with one dot it would be hard to say yes to that.

If I were you, I would keep him in QT to see what happens before adding him to the main tank.
