convict
clown
powder brown
red lip/naso tang
scopas tang
juv orange shoulder
bristel tooth
blue spot
yellow pyroferus

I already have a mandarin, a skunk clown, and a coral beauty

I would say no on the clown tang, naso tang, orange shoulder tangs.

The scopas, pyroferus or bristletooth would be the best choices

Definitely skip the clown tang and the Naso tang. Clown tangs are just one of those fish best left in the oceans. Naso tangs grow quite large, and will even outgrow 6ft tanks eventually.

That said, I personally think anything else on the list is fine, if not long term, then for a long time (like the OST).

How many of these tangs do you want to keep?

I think that will decide which ones to choose from the list.

i would like to go with 3
It works best when they are different. There's more to it than that, but I've found that you have the greatest chance for long-term success if you don't mix similar tangs. Which three would you like to go with?

Bristle Tooth tangs have always been one of my favorite fish. They are great hair algae eaters and are generally very hardy. Always a good addition.

convict. They are so awesome. Great personalities, great glass cleaners!!!! Also passive. I think they are the most under appreciated tang of them all!

is the bristle tooth similar to a kole tang?? I do like the look of a convict tang...

so powder brown, convict and bristle tooth?

Sure, why not? And because these tangs stay smaller and are more peaceful (except for maybe the Powder Brown), you could possibly add more fish in the future. I say this initial combination gives you good flexibility and minimal likelihood for problems down the road.

add more fish as in more tangs.. or just more fish in general.

so with tangs they will be mean to other fish??

I am was hoping to add some anthias, a midas blenny, and some purple chromis later, maybe a wrasse or two?
