O i have a new 150g tank and wanted to get to 5 tangs in the tank (purple, powder blue, blue hippo, yellow and blonde naso). for those that have been successful with tangs what is the best way to introduce. is this too many tangs? i only have room for maybe a 20g QT tank.
is there and order to do it?
QT one at a time?
Just looking for any advice as i have learned the hard way but i do not want to make mistakes twice.

any and all help is greatly appreciated!!!

The hippo and Naso require tanks much larger than what you have. I think stocking with those 5 tangs would be problematic.

I would drop the Naso for sure. I would limit myself to three tangs. Your best bet would be to quarantine and introduce the pbt, yt and pt together or at the same time. If you insist on the hippo, I would quarantine and introduce it before the others.

I agree on removing the hippo and naso tangs from your list. The other 3 tangs would pretty much max out your space and bioload IME.

I'd probably QT the YT and PT together in the 20 gallon. Then QT the PBT next. I don't think all 3 would get along in a 20 gal for 6-8 weeks at a time.

Agreed with the above posts. 150g is way too small for a naso. hippo would also do better in an 8-foot tank.

Like aleonn said, QT the YT and PT together and treat for 6 weeks. Then add them at the same time to the DT.
