Tangs not well

I have a small Regal Tang and a Yellow Tang, both are scratching themselves on things in the tank and the scratch marks are now a concern.

I have looked at them closely and I can`t see anything on them ( like white spots) Although the Yellow Tang has one cloudy eye.

Can anyone help me on this please?:(

I can't remember exactly what the cloudy eye means. Bacterial or Fungi infection but not 100% sure. What are your nitrates levels at? If they are high, do some water changes and lower them.

if it is a Bacterial or Fungi infection, you'll probably need to treat it. And do what "Tbduval" said check your nitrate levels and change some water.

Ok, I checked with my LFS and they believe it is the sign of Fungi infection. Has the fish got pop eye? That is where one eyes is bigger than the other. If my memory serves me right you can treat it with Formalin but please double check the directions and make sure, as I can not remember.

whatever you use don't forget to remove the fish from the display tank and use the Quarantine tank to treat him. most treatments harm corals and anenomes.
