Tangs

I do not know. I have a powder brown and the only thing in addition I do special for him is put in a strip of nori every other day.

the powders can be more ich prone as are the achilles. Tomini, yellow, kole etc are fairly easy. ive never been able to keep a Scopas or mimic. that said, in general, they are more easily kept than others

Once established I wouldn't say any one is easier to keep than the next. I have never had troubles with any of them but I don't keep more than 1 per tank and I know my tank is suitable for that tang. Yes the powders are more ich prone and yes they can all have a mean streak. I know that doesn't exactly answer your question but those are personal experiences. Just research the ones you like and narrow them down like that

I agree, once you tank is established. Any tang is good. I have 4 tangs in my tank, yellow, blue hippo, blonde naso, and powder blue tang. The only thing you need to know is which tang to put in first because some are very aggressive and will claim their home and will not let new tangs in.

Could you tell us a bit about your system and what it'll be kept with? That should help us guide you in the right direction!

I agree with others, the Powder Blue, Achilles, Powder Brown, etc are all a bit harder, more ich prone, and more aggressive once established.

Naso tang and Orange shoulders. These 2 are pretty much bulletproof. You don't have to worry as much about ich on these.

but you do have to worry about size, as those are huge fish.

if you have a tank over 75 gallons, consider the kole or other Ctenochaetus genus fish, or possibly a mimic or convict.
