i am converting a 55g fw in sw and was wondering if a yellow sailfin tang would make a good addition after i get some algal growth

Some recommend a minimum of 125 - 150 gall for Sailfin Tangs.they can grow up to 12".

yeh they are really a yellow scopas i think as they have longer fins then normal yellows but not a long as sailfins, about the same as a scopas.... bout twice the price of a normal yellow.
that is if you are talkin about the 1 fish and not 2.... lol
imo you should start with less demanding fish first.... and if you want this fish get a bigger tank.
