Tangs

I have a yellow tang and a powder brown tang. I have a 120 gal reef tank and 180 pounds of live rock with all kinds of caves for them to hide in. The problem is my yellow tang was first in the tank and just in the last 3 weeks I got the powder tang. The yellow tang wants to pick fights all the time with powder tang. Will they be allright together?

Time will only tell. Powders are extremely prone to ich so you will want to try to help the situation. I suggest using a eggcrate divider to seperate the 2 fish. This will allow the powder to rest a bit and make its self a territory on the side its on. The will help undo the territory that the Yellow has made. Good Luck

Usually a little scrapping isn't too bad. Unless he drives the powder blue away during feeding time I wouldn't worry about. It's WW3 in my tank most of the time and everybody is fine.

Feed garlic to try to prevent the ich that will probably start.
Ich just doesn't happen. It needs to be introduced. Proper QT measures would have fixed this before it happens.
You could try rearranging some rock, or hope for the best. They need to get their pecking order. So a little fighting is normal. I hope all works out
