Tangs

I am curious to see some opinions on this.

I just received a 65 gallon hexagon acrylic tank, I'm not sure what the dimensions of it are.

Thats not actually my tank, an example I googled.


It also has a sump/refuge for about 100-150 gallons.


Yeah, you know what is coming next, my family wants some kind of tang, and I figured I would ask the general population what they thought before I answered.

I'd only keep one, a smaller species like a yellow.

imo i would say no. The smallest tank i would put a yellow tang in would be a 4ft tank. most people recommend a 6ft tank or larger for tangs.

Yellow's get rather big if yuo get anything it would be a tomini, kole, etc. bristletooths

thanks for the replies guys, I was thinking about doing a kole tang myself.

Ya know what, I'm going to go measure that thing.

i would go with a kole or a tomini tang.
