Tank Advice for a Peacock

alright, before i start...

READ THIS NOTE: I do NOT plan on keeping my peacock in his current setup for much longer, i actually didn't plan on keeping him in that tank in the first place. He's getting upgraded ASAP because i already know he needs more space

okay now that i've said that, i have a peacock mantis that's about 4 inches long in a 12 gallon eclipse system (yeah i know it's small...) i also have an aquapod still in the box. Anyway, i was gonna put him in the aquapod, but then i read that the aquapod is made of glass, so now he's in the eclipse system until i can figure out if it's safe or not...

So does an aquapod and or nanocube have the thickness of glass to handle a peacock mantis shrimp all the way until it grows to it's full length?

and on a side note, i'm about to take video of my own mantis shrimp, edit it into my collage and post it online! Thanks to everyone who let me use their videos, but Wocka hasn't been online in ages and i need to ask him if i can use his video!

i think that you could put him in the aquapod just dont tease him with anything and he wont bother the glass, i also have a 4" peacock in a 12 gallon eclipse for now untill i can get his tank made, im not taking any chances though im going to go with 3/8" glass or maybe even 1/2" glass if i need to but i would look more towards a 30G breeder for a mantis tank they need alot of surface area and anything with wide, long dimensions that are about 12-14" high would be perfect for a mantis, also even the largest aquapod will be too small for a peacock, go with a 25-30 true gallon tank with thick glass or acrylic and that would be good

im not too sure all i know is that i have seen pictures of their shed smashers from each shed and it seems like its a pretty big jump, they eat alot too! and the things are fast as hell
