the doors will be open at 12.00. I will be there with water and buckets etc. See you all there.

if anyone has a couple clean large rubbermaids to hold water in, that would be great.

Thanks,

P.

Low turnout, but it was good to see some members willing to fight the fight on this tank. Good job guys. It's a start at least. Now we need to focus on maintenance on the project. High nutrients and organics in the water will only lead to future heavy cleanup again. We need to get the plumbing and skimmer going on that tank. Once again thanks to those that showed up.

Leighanne does water changes and cleans the glass. Major work is the responsibility of the club.

Thanks to Pamela and Phillip, Doug, Ray, Kelly and Kevin. You guys busted ***. A great job!!

Wow, thanks for all those that were able to make it on Sunday. Though I wasn't there, I appreciate your hard work in my abscense. I can't wait to see it again? Is there still more work that needs to be done?

yes there is.

We didnt have time to do any of the replumbing, rework the wiring and perform a host of other tasks.

Pamela scrubbed and cleaned approx 200lbs of LR by herself. Kevin and Phillip washed several hundred pounds of new sand while Ray, Kelly and I emptied the old tank. Doug bought luncyh for us moved all of the stuff we were cleaning removing etc.

It would have been nice to have more people out there. It was an enormous job for 7 people. Im sure there are many sore hands this morning.

I wish I could have made it, unfortunately Sunday is a work day for me--Mondays though are great. I may be able to do a Sunday coming up. I'll keep an eye on the thread

It was fun, ....er uh nice,......uh,..... interesting to be part of the sand "pooper scooper" team. The best part was sopping up that last 1/4" of "brackish" water in the tank. BTW, thanks for the drink Kelly ( swamp63), I owe you one!
