tank bred v. wild

i have a pair of ORA tankbred false perc's. i've read a lot of posts where folks say their clowns host in torch, hammer and frogspawn... and that's what my tank is filled with! about 10 different euphyllia. my clowns don't seem inclined at all to host. is this maybe because they are tank-bred v. wild? or maybe false perc's don't host? thanks

I have a skunk that lives in an alveopora (GFLOWER pot) and two true percs that every now and then get into the frogspan. Who knows maybe that's each particular animals behavior LOL good luck and give it some time. Nothing good happens fast in this hobby

very cute photo! I've had my clowns about 3months so maybe they'll take to something.. Just curious if being tank=bred v. wild makes any difference.

No, it doesn't make any difference. Ocellaris clowns (false percs) are notorious for being very picking when it comes to accepting a host. IME, wild caught ocellaris are often worse than tank bred in this regard.
