Thanks guys for all the comments. The tank took so long to get started, (I won't say "to complete" because it's a work in progress), due to my ignorance on the subject, money and finding the time to work on it. The hobby keeps me out of trouble. Now I need CORALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Frank,

I hold some concern with the location of the mechanical timers so close to the moisture of the water. Could they be relocated to the stand (underneath the tank?)

Otherwise, it all looks great.

Eric,
take a look at the picture before you see the timers. I made a wooden fixture behind the tank to house/hide all the electricity, timers and drip bags. I made the box front purposely lower than the tank top to stop any splashing/dripping from the tank. The timers are boxed in, I attached hinges to the box to allow me to make any necessary adjustments. Do you think that this fixture sufficiently address's your concerns? I haven't had any spillage or salt creep yet.
