Any suggestions on what to support a display tank that will sit underground and be displayed in the basement?

The front of the tank will take the place of one of the basement walls (8'x10') and will be approximately 10' deep and sit underground with some sort of access from the top.

I was considering concrete and some sort of liner but I would be concerned about cracking through the seasons. It will reside in San Diego where the temp is pretty steady.

Anyone know what city aquariums build their displays out of?

That would be a cool idea for a basement tank. In the past I pondered a similar idea. I suggest making a complete underground vault , completly sealed from the ground that would be above it.
It would be like a typical fish room. Make a door that can be accessed from the basement.
