well this past week I had a crash, had a mild case of flat worms, that seems to be cleared, but during this i was told by my LFS to get my salinity to about 1.022 as a small hyposalinity scenario to help out.. and it did. But, I think my refractometer was off, so it may have been around 1.020 or just under. So my acro's haven't really extended there feeders, and have discolored slightly. Calc and alk were up and all other levels were good thought the hypo. now salt is back up to 1.025. Also during the course of the week i probably changed about 40+ gallons of water out to remove parasites from the water column. so my question is will my acro's bounce back and if so, how long? now of them are RTN or anything of that nature. They still have color but bleached. Thanks. I am afraid my tank have to kinda mini cycle after such a huge water change.

It's been my experience over the years that sudden changes in salinity have grave effects on the inhabitants of the tank. I don't know how gradual you brought the salinity in your tank down or back up. Just the first thought that came to mind while reading your post. My tank is used to having the salinity at 1.025 - 1.026 and I would be afraid if it would have gone down to 1.020.

At this point, I would just wait it out and monitor everything closely. If you do not already do weekly water changes, I would do them weekly for a few weeks.

Good luck.
