tank crashed

In the pass 2 days my tank crashed. i lost 2 clams one of my monti bleached out in less then 24hrs, i have another monti which is bleaching slowly,my zoos never opened again, also all my mushrooms shrunk. Now all my tank is turning green. All my water parameters are good
Readings are as followed:

PH 8.1-8.5
calcium 410-420
alkanity 8-9 dkh
nitrate 0
amonnia 0
specific gravity 1.025
temperature 78-79 degrees

Can somebody give some advise? please

What test kits? and are they old? Somethings gotta be off if things are dying. Unless you maybe overheated the tank at one point, or something that was temporary that was resolved before you could notice?

I agree with jflip, something is up with your test kits.
I would have someone else test your water and see what they say.

Test kits are definetly not old as i have just purchased all of them. I use seachem multi test kits and API test kits. The tank is built with a chiller and also heaters which are all on a controller. I also took my water to the fish store where he did the tests too and found the same readings. don't know what kind of test kits he used

no expert but you need to do a water change immediately. also may want to run carbon. sorry to hear about this hope you find the source of the trouble

I did the water change already whereas i usually do a 30 gallon change every week. Regarding carbon i have a marineland magnum canister filter filled with carbon.

Did this happen immediately after a water change by any chance? Sometimes you can get a bad batch of salt.... There are so many things, we over the internet can not pinpoint anything. It is possible your chiller didnt kick on. Its possible maybe it got TOO cold, its possible none of those affected anything. There are a lot of things it could be, really. Just do what you can to avoid anymore damage. Like others said, run carbon do a water change. Maybe do another water chance in a couple days, making sure to match the salinity, to not stress anything else out.

Thanks for all the info. It didnt happen as soon as i changed the water I had changed it maybe 4 days previous to that. I also had the carbon running ever since ive had the tank. I dont know what else to do, i guess i can do another water change and go from there.....

Hi i think i found the problem accidentally i drop a 3 inches copper pipe in my sump i saw it yesterday. Do you guys think that was creating the problem

Run Carbon, and do as big of a water change as you can. Copper kills any invertebrate. Im not sure, but your live rock might be toast also.

Yep your in trouble... As soon as you can, run some seachem copper remover in your magnum and try to remove your sand bed as well. Sand will aborb copper ions and release it back to the water when the pH falls below a certain point. I think your reefing days maybe over for awhile as the copper has also been absorbed in the liverock too. Therefor you may not be able to keep inverts or corals anymore. Just do water changes as well as copper removers and time will tell. You might have to run copper remover for a period of six months to ensure any bleached out copper has been removed. The best test for copper on liverock is to buy a couple snails and introduce them to the liverock to see if they happen to live or die quickly. If they live and thrive you know that you may be able to introduce new corals and other inverts again.
