tank delayed again!

I dunno how you guys feel when the tank gets delayed... but i'm extremely annoyed!!! freakin VISIO, its been 3 weeks now. First they told me one week, then 2 weeks, and they finally said it'll be deliever today. Come to find out after calling Jeff's that they're waiting for the silicone to dry and can't deliever it till tomorrow, and it won't even be deliever to the Jeff's near me, it's being delievered to the one in Gardena, then they have to drive it down here. So basically i won't get the tank for another few days... Sorry, just had to vent... This hobby hasn't helped me with my patience at all

May I ask how much you paid for your tank? I think I remember you posting a bit about what you had ordered and how much you paid but I can't find the string.
I'm in the market to build a custom tank and was wondering.

yeh... its even harder when they tell you its coming in at a certain time and then call back saying it's not going to happen. I ended paying 575 for it due to the starphire. 5 months??? was it just delay after delay? I definitely couldn't wait that long haha. They said it'll be ready for me to pick up either saturday afternoon or early sunday morn, so we'll see... Nothing we can do about it.

Ken, we were in the market for a 150 a while ago, but after hearing electricity costs we decided to downsize a little haha, otherwise we would have pickedup your system in a heartbeat.

James fell behind by a week and a half and the shipping company missed the delivery before thanksgiving so i had to wait until after the holidays, that was 2-3 weeks alone.. james @ envision is considered to be one of the best acrylic tank makers in the country, he always has a lead time of 5-6 months at least... sometimes longer. but the tank is so nice i would wait in line again to have him do it again

Ouch... holiday season is rough... I bet that was the longest season for you ever huh haha. Hopefully our tank looks good, then I won't be as upset. At least they're giving us our overflow cover for free now haha. small consolation i guess.
