Tank drilling! Essex area

Hi all,

I'm looking for some help, we have been given a old juwel trogon 190 that was used for freshwater that we would like to upgrade to marine. Having exhausted ourselves with sumps and canister filteration options we would prefer to go down the route of a sump. We have no idea how to go about drilling the tank other thank seeking the help of someone whom is experienced in this field which has led me to registering and hoping that someone may be able to help. We are not sure if our tank is tempered or toughened glass on the base and from my understanding it's hard to tell? although hundreds of topics I've read state it's easy if rather not mess it up. Is there anyone out there in the Essex area that would like to make a few bob in helping us drill the tank. It is currently empty as our guys are living in their Fluval 90l tank ready to move home. Also does anyone who is using this tank currently have the specifications and equipment they are using for their sump to give us an idea of exactly what we need?

I appreciate your advice and replies! Please help!

Its fairly simple to determine if its tempered... The manufacturer is still around.. Simply call them..

and there are TONS of videos on youtube for drilling a tank..
Its really not hard at all..

Go for it..
But I believe we have a few from your area that "might " be willing to help too..
