it's just a little tile bit that, you can find them at menards. it goes to a dremel. As long as your tank isn't tempered shouldn't be a problem, Also I would suggest getting a schedule 80 bulkhead since the flange is a little bigger there is more room for error on the hole. The hole won't be a perfect circle but it will be close. I've done over a dozen of them with no problem. What size hole are you wanting to drill I have a bunch of different size sch. 80's. that I can sell you for whatever I paid for them at Savko.com

so your wanting to run a closed loop system? with one drain and 4 returns? so 5 holes total? I don't have that many bulkheads so you might just want to order them form savko.com. also if you are needing that many bulkheads you might want to pick up 2 of the tile bits. shouldn't take to long to do about 3 minutes a hole.

depends on the tank... are your going to use a OM4way? a good pump with low watt draw is a reeflo snapper 98w plus you can gate it down and it can use as low as 40w or something. If your not using a om4way and using the reeflo snapper I would use a 2" drain then 2x 1" returns with 2x 3/4 modular line comeing out of each hole, with that stuff you are able to point the flow where you would like it. There are many diffefent options when it comes to close loops, might want to do some research. At any rate when you find out what you need just bring over the bulkheads and I can drill it.
