Tank F/S

man o man.....wish i could justify this one to the wifey

Are you kiddin' me? Tell your wife this will pay for itself in 6 months and be a money maker after that and how you will use the new household cash flowto buy her a great Christmas present this year? If that doesn't work out, you can just tell her it is your Christmas gift.

Or, don't you have a birthday coming up soon? Boozah, early birthday present......:hb2:

Lastly, tell your wife she is helping another wife get her laundry room back! She will appreciate that.....

By the way, hate to see you sell that out. Looks very nice. You should just grow zoas in it like a zoa garden and have multi colors. Take out the sand, let them grow across the bottom, cover everything in sight in an array of a rainbow....

It is glass. If you look close at the pics, you can see it is very think glass. I guess they have to do that for rimless.

I don't plan to be out too long. I did start up a planted discus tank and wanted to spend my limited time on it. I knew the reef side would take a dip and did not want the distraction of trying to do both. I will also come back with a smaller footprint that will not take as much space as my wife as been a real trooper with me taking over "her" area for the last couple of years. However, the 48" length has been nice.

I still swear I am going to get my ric garden back and try my hand at fraggin' them. That was my original intent and I just never gave it a shot. I had some really great colors and they were doing great before I moved them from my larger tank. I think it was the lighting as they went downhill fairly quickly and I didn't have any options to move them at the time. I thought that was my sign to take a break.

The only thing I still have on my bucket list is I have always wanted to try the killifish. They seem very interesting and I like the looks of them. I think it is neat that you can just mail some eggs back and forth(check out ebay today for some pics and see how you can just order the eggs). If I had the room, I would keep this 48" and put in dividers and have some fun.

So, I am not sure which will take a priority when the discus tank is where I want it.

Also, if you buy the tank, I will sell you 90 pounds of rock (see my other post for pics) for $1.5 pound that will fill it up. I will throw the sand in for free. http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2272895

So for $235 you will have a 33 G (48" x 12" x 12') rimless tank with rocks and sand. That is what I paid just for the tank. Retail package of the above is:

Tank $220+ (taxes and delivery)
Rock $720 (at $8 a pound)
Sand $60?

Total $1,000

That is 24 cents on the dollar!!!

So, you say, sure that is great, but then I need a skimmer. You drive a hard bargin..... I have a $180 retail Marineland Pro Series 100 that I will sell for $50 (if you buy all the above). I think I have a picture out there somewhere. http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2271674

Fish? Man you want everything.....I will throw in a damsel for free.

So, you will take $285 for the tank, rock, sand, and the skimmer? If so, consider it sold; that's if you want too.

You still have the tank? any hardware - lights, pumps, etc ?

I still have the tank. However, I do have another RC member interested and received two emails today from my craigslist ad. So, let me know.

I don't anticipate having any hardware left over at this time. I do have a bunch of T5's that came with my various light fixtures that I never used. If anyone is interested, I will set them cheap. I think I have about a dozen of them. $3 each.

Any frogspawns left for sale?!

Yes, I have one frogspawn left. I think it has six or seven heads. Please look at my other threads with corals for sale. I have several others and I am very motivated to sell them as I think I will have sold this tank soon and they will need a home. If you see anything, I will work with you if you buy several corals!

It's a for sure thing. Cash in hand. I'll also take those T5's.

Sorry, I overlooked your post. Sent you a PM.

I can pay you now. I can pick it up whenever your ready; next weekend or the one after. I've had some experience with saltwater in the past. More than likely I will need to get up to speed with some of the new hardware. Can I give you a shout in an hour or so? I was not able to send a PM due to not having 10 or more posts.
