Thanks for the kind words folks! The tank is a custom built acrylic 5 ft long x 2 foot tall and 32 inches deep. Well, for maintenance, I do a 5 gallon water change like once a month. The tank is 200 gallons so this is minimal. I have a very large diy air stone skimmer on the tank, so the water is pristine. This thing strips the water of every bit of nutrients. I wipe the glass once a week or so to keep the coraline from covering the front panel. No algae growth in a very long time. Not even with the huge die off of 20 plus colonies and minicolonies last year.
I do have to clean the skimmer cup about every 4 to 5 days.
The system is pretty self sustained.  I have an auto top off hooked to an RODI set up.  Here is the equipment list;
3- 250 watt evc electronic ballast with EVC 14k bulbs in luminarcs
The lights are on 7 hours a day from 330 pm to 1030 pm.
For circulation I have a mag 12 for return and it also feed a chiller and calcium reactor. I have a Hammerhead pump on a oceans motions closed loop feeding 12 outlets in the back and bottom of the tank throughout the rock work. The calc reactor is a mrc2 dual chamber controlled by a reeffanatic controller. The chiller is a 1/4 hp arctica. That is pretty much it!
