tank glass discolored

I was given a tank that had sat idle for years.
I have scrubbed it but the glass on the inside has stains, a white cloud?
I have filled the tank and am cycling the tank. Any suggestions how to clean this??

take a blade and scrape it is all i can think of. What'd you clean with? did you try white vinegar?

Sounds like it's scratched. I know of no way of buffing out scratches short of emptying the tank and using a buffer.

Used white vinegar, it helped. It's not a scratch, I willll try blade, thanks
