Tank in Fallow

hi reefers! i have a biocube 29 and had an ich outbreak that killed my 2 onyx clowns a week ago. whats left are CUC and corals. im planning to go fishless for 10 weeks. do i need to do any chemical treatments while on fallow? special water changes like using cycled water from lfs or anything? thanks in advance.

Nope, just fishless. I wouldn't add anything new to the tank or the clock starts over. Ich can hitch a ride on anything wet.

Why do you think it was ich? Brook or velvet is more likely.

Sounds more like velvet, and the mortality time line is consistent with that diagnosis. Fallow time for velvet is six weeks.
