i don't have a mantis and never seen one yet ,but can you not just close is den with a stone or something.

i have skewers to be used as chopsticks but they just aren't enough in some cases.

EHUDD: as i'm sure you aren't aware of, mantids can carry some nasty bacteria in their dactyls

matty is right, my mantis is REALLY agressive.

chainmail glove would be nice. if only i could find one for a good price that still gave my fingers some dexterity.

you can't block off the entrance with a stone because there are close to 20 entrances

i'm still looking for ideas. he has a frag of green+brown palys in his cave right now. i wish i could just move him out of the coral tank but i don't have enough room for a 10+g sump or a separate 10g tank.
