Tank Moving Help Needed

Hey everyone,

I have a old 125 gallon tank that I need to move. I need some help so if any of you are willing to help let me know.

Just so you know it is now at the old Californian Restraunt and I need to move it to Nitro.

It is very old (I think) the glass is really thick and the tank has no center brace, I am pretty sure it never did.

If you can and are willing to help me move it, please let me know as I need to move it as soon as possible so I can give the key back to the owner.

Thanks
Mary

We have a truck, if there are some willing men to help my hubby, we could get it moved Wed. Thur. evening, perhaps anytime Friday (he is off on Fridays but I am not sure if he has plans) Where do you want it moved to? At your shop?

We also have a truck so with 2 we can get the tank and stand in one trip.

No for some more muscle, and to figure out the best time for everyone who can help. We can move it at any time that is convient for everyone.

Yes, it is going to the shop.

~_~ Lemmie know when u all plan on doin it so I can start annoying the **** outta my mom and get her to drive me. My uncle Larry may help with the muscle bit....

Come on people, lets help Mary out with this, she is always on here helping all of us out. If we need to do it in the evening, Wed. or Thurs. is best for us, probably around 6pm. Anyone else?

I would jump in and help but due to a foot injury all I could do would be say a little to the left.... now a little to the right..... back to the left....... now right.......

Philjess is 6pm good for you?
Reef4Fun,which ever day is better for everyone else would be fine.

My Husband says, he is ready whenever you all are.

Thanks

Mary

OK, Thurs at 6, meet at the old Californian, Hubby says he will be there unless work keeps him longer (shouldnt be a problem)

Hey Nancy and Jim thanks for the help.

Thanks Philip even though the other guys didn't wait for you. They found a dolly and wheeled the tank out to the truck. It worked great.

Mary, that is a 150 gallon made of 1/2 inch thick glass (hence the absence of a center brace) and it weighs around 230 lbs empty. I have one identical to it I'm working on. Just thought you would like to know.

You will need at least 4 people to move it and if you can round up a scooter or two with swivel castors it will help immensely.

I thought that looked bigger than a 125. That would be nice as an "in the wall" tank Mary. Let me know if you ever want to sell it, I want to put one in the wall.
