Sounds great man. Are you moving the 120? I would be glad to help, Spring hill is quite a drive for me.

Good luck.

Sorry....I got to delay the move....Just set the tank on the stand and I did a major F up.....So now the move is put on hold.....

Mods please close....

Now that I had a chance to count to 10 and walk away from the garage before I put a hammer thought the tank....Not only did I cut 2 of my upright legs 1/4 inch to sort BUT manage to put both of them on the same corner....Now the tank has 1/4 inch gap on one corner....

I will be unscrewing the legs on that corner and raising it with shims and then re screwing it. But before I can do that I have to take all the trim and skin off of that corner and raise the legs and them put all back and touch up the stain....Just to much to do with everything else, don't want to rush it.

I'm trying to picture what you are saying .....my stand was out of level I ended up shimming up the one side about a 1/4" with plastic shims and its all good and my floor was off so that didn't help either...

Its not the bottom its the top....Not only did I screw the stand together I also used wood glue, So there in no room for movement...the stand is REAL ridged. lolol....I measured from the floor of the stand to the bottom of the 2 x 6 Cross member...As you can see in the pic there a gap I didn't catch(red Circle) and the red line is were I measured and that corner is 1/4 inch shorter.

OK I see what your saying .....I'm not there in person but you wouldn't feel comfortable filling that gap from the inside with shims or a solid material especially if you used the jig for your screws that will help some

If it makes you feel any better. On my original go at this stand I built it to dimensions of the glass and the trim so nothing sat on the stand correctly.

Is the skin screwed and glued to the main legs ...if not use a multi max and cut that leg out the blade will cut right through nails and screws ......and glue and slide the new one in and kreg jig the screws from the inside it will still be solid ....wood glue is pretty strong

Ok I think I fixed it....So party is back on.....lolol...All is welcome to come.....Watch or give a hand....Any time around 1 pm.....

U better start a new thread. Most people may not read past mods please close party is off :)

Why such a late start at noon. U know how long this can take right :)

Got to give a BIG THANKS to Lee and Roger for ALL the help!!!!!!!!!
