Tank-O-death

A few months ago, I got my coldwater system back from the guy that I sold it to since he was moving......that's going to be the extent of my reefkeeping for the forseeable future. I will only return to warm water reefkeeping when the economy turns around. My industry is in residential homebuilding/land development. Although, I'm doing OK so far......I will not invest in dead money (reefkeeping) anytime soon....perhaps sometime in 2011.

I do have very specific plans.....with a hope of starting the project towards the end of this year. Business has improved ......but, the economy is still weak for my industry. I want to be confident in the economic cycle before I pour 50K down a hole. There are also a few new technologies emerging for the hobby that I want to employ.....and some more time for their development will be beneficial.

Right now I'm content with my 400 gal coldwater reef which has been up and running since March. It is not quite ready for its reveal.....but, perhaps in another couple of months. I have no plans to re-enter warm water keeping until the real estate market stabilizes.....which could be several years.

thats terrible. i had a sump accident but it was a smaller amount of water. it was a pain to clean up due to the carpet soaking it all up.
