I really like the look of it! I also like the fact of no aptasia! I had long hard battle with them buggers...
 
We feed once a day..seems like they dont get enough food to me but i do think i overfeed sometimes. We have 2 clowns, a pj cardinal and a brittle star and lots of cuc. We feed the brittle star a pc of shrimp or scallop about every other day. Will look into the phosban...Thanks Marcus
 
Limit the amount of food you add to the tank and run a phosban reactor. They are not that expensive.

Exactly right. Hair algae is fueled by phosphates. The could even be released by sand grinding on eachother. Phosban reactor should be fine. Make sure its on a slow tumble. I believe they suggest 30gph. Feeding is most likely the cause. Only enough food that is consumed in max of 5 min. Try doing this in 2,3, or 4 pinches or small fractions of cubes. Phos test only register phos in the water column. There is more trapped than this in any system.
