Beautiful Tank:) :)
how do you go about feeding the eel in your reef?

He gets 1/2 a shrimp every 2 - 3 days. Just empail it on a stick and put in tank, he'll be out in no time!
They are blind as bats but can smell a tiny drop of shrimp with no problem. I thaw the shrimp in tank water and usually put just a tiny bit of the juice in the 30 gallon to see how long it takes for it to get from the 30, the sump and then the 75, it's surprisingly quick! I know when it's in the 75 b/c the eel will start going beserk.

Naw, their natural diet is crustaceans. They don't have sharp teeth like all other moray's, they have teeth like molars to crush shrimps, crabs, etc. He hasn't even eaten the cleaner shrimp that refuses to be rescued. Every time I see that shrimp I think "dead man walking, dead man walking"!

great pics! are the tanks on the same water system?

Yep, both tanks drain into the 30 gallon sump below the 75. The Mag 12 return is split to both tanks. Works great!

Thank you Lizardking!

Looks fantastic Pat! I think the "blastos" that other fellow was refering to was my red brain. I'm getting my tank tomorrow!

Was hoping to do a little "midnight" shopping the next time you were out of town...
Guess the dreaded "attack snowflake eel" will keep your corals safe...darn.

Great looking tanks-can't wait for mine to grow up and look like that.
