How come the Chromis aren't in the display - Would they school better with more room?

Nice sump lookin sump! I really like that translucent macroalgae and the spindly red one (looks nicer than the red grape algae). LMK if you want to trade some for nice non-c02 FW plants.

They school well there. It was feeding time so they were begging. I was told they were pretty aggressive so I put them in the sump. I am wondering if that is more the case when they're fewer, maybe calmer in a school? My clown fish are very aggressive. THey killed a third clown and ate the tail completely off my Gramma. That is why he is in the sump. I wanted fish in there. I feel it is wasted display space so, I built my stand so I have two display tanks.

I just got the macros so they are just getting started. I can cut off a chunk of the red and I think there are some free floating pieces of the green. I will bring them on Sat. if you want. We can definitely work out a trade.

Do you have a skimmer??? How long have you had your system set up???

No skimmer. I would like to be able to get my macros established and not need one. We'll see.

Almost a year. I just started adding coral.
