Tank progress and new to SPS

Greetings fellow hobbyists,
After going back and forth with mixed reef and not staying on top of it, I've decided to buckle down and hone in on thing: coral growth. I have a 90g lit by Kessil a350s (I know, not the most promising) but I wanted to give it a try.

So that being said, I picked up some sweet frags/colonies from a few local reefers. Shout out to Reef Junkie. Not only was he closeby but a solid guy with an awesome tank who hooked me up big time. Also a shout out to Usernam Invalid who (as many of you know) has an amazing setup with great knowledge base. My baseline parameters are:
Cal 440
Alk 8.6
SG 1.026 (using Instant Ocean: Reef Crystals, just FYI)
pH 8.32 +/- .05 from day-night swings

I'm also dosing ESV 2-Part Cal/Mag solution buffers

These were my pickups, listed in no particular order:

Day 1
Bonsai Acro
white/blue
blues only (for picture purposes as this is probably my favorite piece)

Forest fire digi


Joker Palys with montipora confusa


Green Slimer

Welcome to the club! Just curious. Why do you believe your Kessils aren't that good? A350's are just fine. While they're not as customizable as some other lights, they'll do just fine for coral growth. For SPS, ensure you're frags get plenty of flow and keep your paramters steady. Good luck!

Of the research I've done, kessil 350s don't seem to support many SPS?? I am one to go with anecdotal evidence rather then the numbers therefore I'll give these a try.

For flow, I have 2 jebao RW8 giving cross flow from left to right and 1 RW15 from back to front. The acros are right under the lighting and getting solid pulsing flow from the right sided powerhead

everything looks good as if this morning. Will keep checking.
Of note:
Calcium 440
Alk 10.6
5g water change was yesterday so I'll see how it holds up tonight; I'll give it chance to mix. I held my Alk doser last night as I didn't want to increase it any further.
