tank question

Ok this may sound like a dumb idea but here it is anyway. How much weight can the tank its self(6x2 210g) support?..not concerned about the over built solid oak stand..i would like to put a 55g(refuguim) on oak platform on top of the 210... no other location option...or should i just forget the whole thing?

I wouldn't put a 55 gallon tank on top of a canopy.... can you build a shelf using the studs in the wall

there is no canopy...the oak platform i was referring to would be someting like a 2 x 12 oak "plank"

That would be nearly 500lbs on it. There would have to be vertical supports holding it up from a solid base. On the top of a 210gal aquarium, don't do it!

Got it...bad idea...knew that was the answer before i asked...like i said a dumb idea from the get go
