Tank Raised Banggai For Sale

Ok I am selling the last of my cardinals, they are all eating full sized brine and other freeze dried foods, they are around 3-4 months old. I need to sell them before they start to fight for female. Pic is a little cloudy, sorry.

I am asking $15 each.

Thanks,
Ade

Just to give you an idea of the size of the cards. The suction pad on the left side of the pic is the size of a quarter.

I also told you that it would be hard for the cardinal that size to find food in your 125 with the fish that you have in that tank.
Also I have a breeding pair there will be more.
If you want a full sized cardinal you can buy wild cardinals in most LFS for around $25-35.

ADE --

I have a 29 and I'm trying to figure out how best to use it -- If I wanted to try to duplicate your success, how many would I start with? Did you do anything in particular to trigger the breeding?

I place a Barry White or Tom Jones CD in the player and turn down the lights.

I bought a breeding pair, I cheated. I have been told that it is not easy to get a mated pair. Apart from that I fed them and let them do their thing.

Nice on the Barry White answer!

I can't decide it I want to try to try to get a pair of clowns breeding or maybe the cardinals -- of just go with a small fowlr tank. Don't have the energy for a second reef tank.

Well the chances of raising clown from fry are slim to none in the tank, but you have a better chance of getting a pair of clowns.
Do you want them to breed and try to raise the babies or do you just want a pair of fish in general?

I've heard about raising clown fry -- I think it's beyond the scope of my ability and time right now -- but it might be fun. the tank is in the basement and not in a great place for lots of observation -- so I'm thinking about giving it more of a "purpose."

Do other cardinals breed as easily as the banggai's?

I had a pair of Pajama's that bred but I did not see any babies. I think that the banggai are the only cardinal which keep their babies until they are fully developed.
