Tank recomendations w/ wavebox & 6100

I'm looking for a new tank, 180r 72 x24x24. It will be made w U.S.Domestic cast acrylic, they normally use 1/2" for this.
Overflow will be internal and centered.

Q1: When using a Wavebox and 2x6100 streams, would the std 1/2" acrylic be ok (24" height) or should I seriously consider the 3/4"?

The tank will have eurobracing so the Tunzes cannot just hang over the lip.

Q2: What would be the best way to attach the wavebox and streams to 1/2" and 3/4" acrylic?

Thanks
Doug

I use the magnetic holders with 1/2" glass for them. The wavebox is supported by a magnetic holder on the bottom and two suction cups at the top. The suction cups were used as the magnetic holder overlapped the top frame and wasn't very effective.

Thanks.

On a 180g, would 1/2" be ok or should I seriously consider 3/4" acrylic?

If I decide on 3/4" would the magnetic holder work?

Thanks
Doug

I would do 3/4" based on what acrylic fabricators are telling me. The 6200.50 magnetic holder would work and on acrylic tanks two mag holders is the best solution for the wavebox. I would advise haveing the overflow in the center on the back wall and allowing 1" from the waterline to the bracing.
