Tank Recommendations

I am currently looking at different tanks and would like some insight and advice on what people use. My LFS (in Central Florida) has crappy Aqueon tanks that are drilled but IMO are not top quality for a tank. I would like about a 90 gallon aquarium that is reef ready (I am terrified by the idea of drilling holes in glass) with overflows built in that will not break the bank. I have strongly considered the Red Sea Reefer option but would like to pick the sump and ATO system and its a bit on the pricey side. I have struggled to find a lot of offerings online. What higher/quality stand/tank options do you guys recommend.

Thanks

There is a LFS in Gainesville that has a good selection of tanks and also has stands that are built by a local cabinet maker. Neither the tanks (off the shelf) or the stands are of high quality but they are certainly do-able and affordable. I have bought several tanks and stands from them over the years and have not had any issues to date.

Any other recommendations out there?

Am I missing something on the SCA Tanks? They look to be the same as a reefer once you add all the pieces... A red sea 425XL is $2K. SCA would be about $800 tank $400 for a stand, $400 for a sump, and $300 for overflow and plumbing which you have to assemble and design. Total would be about $1.9K.

Reef savvy is in Miami, they make beautiful tanks and you might save some money if you went and picked it up

I've always let Craigslist be my guide. Never bought a new tank before. You can save TONS of money that way. I was really freaked the first time I drilled a tank, but as almost anyone here will tell you, once you do it you realize it wasn't that big a deal. Another used tank for the sump and find a local glass company to cut panels for you to silicone in and you end up with a nice big tank for a lot less money. Then take all that extra money and get a really good skimmer and lights.
