me and my wife would like to set up a tank for seahorses. what type of filter will i need and do i uses a sump or not. Waht type of lighting can i use a bio wheel or do i need some other type of filtration. amy information will help. thnax john

ok you can get a tank set up with a hang on filter and normal lights. but a sump would be great . what you have to remember is the feeding load. so its either a sump to help nutrients or weekly waterchanges. if your planning ahead and it is plausible do a sump. but filtration can be as little as a hang on filter and waterchanges weekly or every two weeks to keep spikes at bay.
