Here is mine: I have a number of SPS from MARS members that I am taking great pride in growing for myself....

Some include: Exotic Reefs Horrida, ROAB Milli, Superman Digi, Steve Elias,Cali Tort, Blue tipped acro(Justins), Green Slimer, Orange/green digi..and a few others aquired in trades from Pico1....to those I have gotten stuff from thank you, I enjoy every one of them.

There is a Turkai, GARF Bonsai, and a Chips Acro in there from Zapata's visit last month

Some of my store bought ones: Sky Blue acro, Atl Bonsai, ocean blue polyped stylo, Tubs Birdsnest, teal acro,electic green BN...and not to forget the big sebae which my clown loves..........I am pretty much at capacity and am already starting to think of another tank......glass propogation cubeish thing I have in my head, lots of square footage, but not very tall.....

Side note: for those dosing 2part.....get a doser....I have seen my growth rates nearly double in the last month!!!! Worth the money!!!

Hardly, Doug. Your tank's beautiful. I bet all that flow has a lot to do with your growth spurt, too.

Great tanks, everyone! Boy, the local hobby scene seems to have changed dramatically since I got here over 3 years ago.

Thank You. Your probably right Karl....I have 2-1500s, 2-820's and the return at probably 400-600 at the nozzle. Thats why I had to take out the sand!

Thanks for posting Tim, I was comming after you next!!! We really have some very modest people on this forum that have some wonderful tanks that absolutly, positively need to be shared more often......looking great so far.....keep em comming!!!

Not the clearest or best exposed, but ...

End shot. Crocea from YourReef (before the store opened) and the big caulestrea that I got as 6-7 struggling heads from Ryan's TLC tank as Lee's Feed:

Right side - some big mushrooms, frogspawn and various 'purdys' from various raffles/swaps.

A bit fuzzy, but better color than the last. Green slimer from TheReefGeek, pink birdsnest and red on green digi from SLOreefer, various sticks, devil's hand from sagitariubc(sp)

Left side. Christmas tree worm rock (one of my first corals!), more mushrooms from who knows where. The large red zoa colony is from sagitariubc, the smaller green center zoas to their lower left are not mounted - they're riding on the back of my tuxedo urchin

Finally, one last shot from the left. Some kind of frilly shroom and gsp from YourReef, xenia from Justin and a better shot of the other side of the frogspawn colony.

well this pics if from before ... Around last year august... before I upgraded my lights in april of this year...

Yep that is how bright my tank was under 220 watts of JEBO pc...

So all together I have my 125 gallon reef ready tank with megaflow overflow by All glass aquarium the stand is AGA and I built the canopy...The tank is only equipped with a catalina aquarium sump w/ catalina brand skimmer...

I just have two powerheads pumping around 600gph on each side and a couple smaller powerheads for circulation...

In all I just buy corals here and there...But, one thing that you might notice is I have so many fish for a reef tank ... Around 20 fish in a 125 gallon...Some say it is not healty...But everything seems to be okay...

The lights I use are 3 175 watt metal halides retrofits from catalina aquarium as well...I recently played around with different MH color temps...The one I have now is a 10K hamiltons...the catalina 15K are becoming dull on me and looks like they are shifiting colors...But, I plan to swap these hamiltons since a friend gave it to me just since they are about a year old...

All in all I tried to just be simple and change water every two to four weeks at a time and only put purpleup as my only supplement...I don't really follow any schedule but it seems to work...Although, I have only started puting corals in my tank since a couple months ago I have been keeping SW tanks for around 5-6 years now when I started in Middle school...Of course with my parents help...So, I'am still learning and I hope to get more invoved with SPS now...(Thanks to Alex and many other reefers) I have gotten some good specimens to start off like your basic monti or psmmacora...




As far as the little boat ontop of my tank it seems to be smooth sailing from here...

When Christmas comes around and Macy's starts to sell those big boats that you put on the christmas tree I think I will buy two other ones to complete my sailboat fleet....Hehehe...

I have a 260W JEBO CF light on the tank. I do inject CO2, and use Plant-Tabs. I am having a blast with the reef, but I just love the Discus.
