As the title says......come on now and don't be shy, clean your glass and take a couple of pics to share!!!....this especially means: Justin74, Unarce, jlfnjlf, NU2SW, Pico1 and anyone else who is active regularly here, so we can begin to put screennames to tanks.........

I would encourage you to put some of the highlights of you tank briefly in text, because some pics are not that descriptive....so to get the most ohh and ahh factor, list some of your favorite hiding fish or small frags that the camera won't be able to illustrate on.....

My goal would be to have every MARS members tank on here.....is it possible? I would like to see........come on.....I dare you!!!!

New pics please!!! not from Dec '04

Guess Ill start it off :)

This shot is of the upper right hand corner of my tank looking from the left side. The top is an ORA tort that I received from brentP I believe late winter early last spring and started from approx. 1-1.5" at one of Alex's potluck BBQ's Im so fond of :) It's still your turn Brent :P heheh.
Just next to that is a light teal green acro that gets nice green polyps with pinkish purple tips, another beautifull coral from Pam's tank that she offered at the raffle table about 4-5 months back. It had a nice stock and branches, but after my mini crash just the base was left, which you now see some axial coralites and branches raising from it, about an inch of growth since my crash, amazing coral. Then the one in front of that is a sm. colony that is the sister to the steely blue tips in the next pic that Im giving to Sparks on the swap page. Its more of a green color overall with a purple encrusting base and green polyps, giving it a tri-color effect. The tips are a steely purple which seems to be developing more and more as time goes by.

Heres a pic from the same angle capturing the right bottom corner, overlooking the forementioned stag going to Sparks as well as Alex's unknown milli, and some glimpses of my purple and green caps from our club members. The digi tan looking digi at the end was my very first SPS coral, I aquired that at a small shop outside of Lemoore and was growing next to a stag coral that the keeper was cool enough to chip off for me. Ive never been able to capture a good closeup of it, but its a cool piece that from afar looks tan. But actually is a sandy white polyp with a hint of mint on a pink base. Ive never before seen one, untill today browsing through exoticreefs.us, where one of the farmers has one and makes the same claim!

And this shot was taken last week I believe the last of the blasto mowhawkin's I was fornutate enough to get in trade from lanxang(lak). It'll soon be splitting/spreading, I can smell it!

Justin...that's your T5 tank? What bulb combo are you running? great color on that ORA tort.

These are about a month and a half old...I don't think I'm willing to take some new pics at the moment..I did a lot of damage befor last meeting:sad1:

Here is a full tank...it's a 29gal via aqua with 5x24W SLS T5 retro with a CPR 5gal HOB fuge lit with the 6th t5 bulb. Right now I'm running 2xaquablue plus and 3x actinic puls all Giessmen bulbs.

You can see most of my SPS in this pic..from back left is a paletta baby blue stag from TFP, you can see a bit of the green slimer that I picked up at a swap..to the right is a bali stag that I got in a trade with from Reefgeek, behind that is a tan cap with baby blue/purple polyp and an oragne cap both from TFP..you can see the top of my cali tort once again from TFP, to the far right is a bright yellow acro I got in a trade with from Pam...
rishtside.jpg

This is the right side..you can see my Crocea clam that I got from YourReef the day it opened (and I think it was the first thing to be rung up..had to wait while he rubbed elbows with the citry reps and take pics)..Around the clam you can see a nodulating neon green cap from TFP, a lavender with green polyp digi from Justin, and the back of a green w/ baby blue poylp cap from Tyree, in the upper right you can see my Idaho grap cap from Karl, the full cali tort (the pink stylo behind it now has a new home...in jlfnjlf 's tank..looks good :) ) , and Steve Elias stag from TFP (god a sound like I'm advertising for Tim..what can I say he's got great stuff)..and my candy cane in the lower left (raised from a single dieing head and now fraged down from that)
backleft.jpg

Here is my LPS ally on the left..Orange w/ green center unknown to the left, with a green/purple diplo below, my green brain (and my second coral I bought), a purple lobo with pink/red highlights on the outerrim and blueish center, and blasto merlti with green centers...I've got the same morf with blue center on the other side of the tank...and if you look carefully there is an orage yuma mixed into the dragon eye zoas..
leftsidesandbed.jpg

Last pic I'll put up are some zoas started from frags...there are GB packers, ring of fires, eclipes, and radio active dragon eyes in there...

And sorry for going so long....and I didnt' even cover them all...lol..

Thanks David, ya, thats my T5 tank. 2 aquablues,2blue+'s,1 true Actinic, and UVL's super actinic. When all the lights are on its not as blue as it looks here written down, but does have a nice I'd say 15k look, well, prolly more like 20k :D. Im finally getting the orangey red to pop through and things are getting interesting for our lil unknown :D These pics inspired me to finally do what I was saying I was going to do, and get that big rock I had the rhodactis, and frog spawn on out of there and into the 30g. Did some major aquascaping in both tanks. I'll update after everything settles down and I scrape the glass. Whic now I can finally do!!All the way down!YAY!! I always enjoy looking through your field of sticks David thanks for sharing, you got some very nice ones in there and mostly all exotic ones at that!

jlfnjlf, your tank has just blown up over these past few weeks! Looking very nice John. Makes me happy to see my stuff in there polyps extended lookin good and happy. good stuff.

Lou, is that an idaho grape and a pink cap growing together..or is the lighting playing tricks on my eyes? If so that is going to be sweet..

After takin some big rocks out and breakin some up and this and that, heres my softy/lps 30g peninsula :)

The rock that took outta the 55g must have been at least 20lb, the thing was big and heavy, most of you know all the history on this tank though :)

Mings yellow toadstool and Elim's green finger leather are gettin pretty good size and still are some of my favorites.

My tank just after a major re-aquascaping project. Note the copious amounts of dry base-rock rubble which is still white in this picture :)

Nice tank Karl, testament to less is more. Really showcases the corals and schooling chromis!

Thank you Karl, as I expected it is very nice.....love the rock work....I really need to get a cube or something in the 180g range to get the area to be as creative as that.....
