Anyone around Cleveland Hts., Shaker, University Hts do tank sitting at all? Or, that could look in once a day to check on things if I trained my pet sitter to do simple stuff?

I have no firm plans yet for trips, but am trying to plan a few so just wanted to check with folks.

thx!!

hmmm.. I am student at Cleveland Institute of music. I live in Little Italy. So, you are about a 15 minute drive or so. I will be around for most of the summer too, as I am an apprentice with Lyric opera Cleveland.

I see you have seahorses, I don't really have experience with those. I have read a bit, but if you think I could help you out, PM me.

I live on the west side and also travel frequently so I will eventually be in need of a tank sitter I'm sure. (I live in Old Brooklyn)-grew up in the heights. Cleveland hts is only about a 15 min drive from me. I have a 100G maixed reef and a 29G coral prop tank. Drop me a PM if you want and we can figure it out.

This is a good idea lol everytime i go out of town i come home and my tank is in shambles. Its like everything that can ever go wrong only happens at that exact moment your out of town. Good luck

My 'admission', I've been afraid to go away for 1 1/2 years now because of my tanks!! Now that I've scaled down it shouldn't be as hard, but just wanted to assess who is where in case of need.

Josh, yes, you're very close. You could come serenade my critters with some nice opera it sounds like. :)

Thanks and I'll PM a couple of you if my plans firm up for a couple things.

OH, and I'm in this area too if anyone ever needs the same in return!

Amy.

I'm a med student at CASE, and I commute in from Solon...so University Heights is literally on my way in and out from school. If you need some help, let me know...I keep/have kept several reefs, TONS of FW...and I'm a quick learn for new stuff. You can keep me on your list of potentials, if you'd like.
Thanks,
Jon

I was almost afraid to go away for spring break... but I went to my parents house anyways. I had the light timers on and I only lost 1 thing, a firefish. When I got back, the clowns seemed to be hosting my liverock... or they were close to death. In any case, the were in slow motion for a few minutes but once I put some frozed brine shrimp in there they perked up quickly!

I'm always up for a good ol' fashion critter serenading!
I have experience with dogs, cats, birds, horses, goats, cows, and just about anything you could imagine. They all make good audience members and great friends.
